Tools for the Coach
| Coaching | Archived in: Actual Coaching
The professional coach has luckily a big number of tools and methods to help in the coaching process to his/her clients. Most of these coaching tools conform the coach Working Toolkit and they have been developed over the years for professionals from several fields related to coaching as psychology, therapy, personal development and even business and professional consulting.
We will strive to bring you all these coaching tools so you can use them in your work, either working with clients or for your personal development and self-coaching processes. The tools require a password to open that you will be able to get by simply registering in our website here. To keep an eye on all the new tools we find and add to our toolbox, check regularly the Coaching Tools category from our website.
Every single tool we use has a very specific purpose. For instance, in self-coaching processes, or in a coaching session for a life change, we will work intensively with the study of our talents and strong points, as well as with our personal values, using tools as the strong points list from the Gallup Institute or the Rokeach values survey. If we need something to start a new coaching process with a new client, we can use the Wheel of Life, which can provide us ideas to help our customer focus on the correct area to improve. If we want to analyse our current situation and reality, according to a desired change, we can use for instance the 12T Life Analysis or the 100 hours week spreadsheet. There are many more examples and resources to start with.
We expect to make grow this section with time and with all your help. If you would like to add any post with a method, technique or coaching tool that you find particularly interesting just let us know by leaving it on the comments!
